Ever since we arrived in August we have had people tell us it's not really hot yet, wait for October! Since we are so close to the equator it is hot anyway but for some reason October is the hottest month of all. There is no breeze and just the unrelenting sun. I have been dreading October but we are in it now and there was a good breeze going today. I won't be fooled thinking that it's going to be like this all month long but at least the start of October hasn't been bad.
And thank you so much for the prayers and concerns of the Senegalese. Thankfully water is being restored and some areas of town have begun to receive water again!
